On Wednesday 11th August the Charity held it's AGM, that had been delayed due to Covid restrictions! 28 members of the community, including six members of the Charity's committee attended. The Chair, Guy Berwick, read out the Chairs Annual Report and gave the financial update. Considering it's been a very difficult 18 months of Covid Restrictions monies were raised by 90 year old Russell Berwick completing a virtual Land's End to John O'Groats walk, raising well over £1400, a huge round of applause and thanks was given. There had been a bake sale by Cop It Sweet Cakery, who kindly donated all sales proceeds to the charity. The sale of a beautiful deer print painted by Lori Shaw of Lori S Creatives and a jams and plants sale by Danielle & Maria added to the Charity's funds as there was no Bluebell Teas in either 2020 or 2021!

The attendees were given an explanation of the current situation with regards to the car park and pavilion land, and all were advised that the Charity is still awaiting a response from neighbouring land owners and previous Charity Committee members, Mr & Mrs Bamber (at time of publishing this article).

All committee members were then asked to stand down as a vote for the new committee commenced. Eight nominations were put forward with five committee places available. A maximum of 5 votes per person were allocated. 28 voting sheets were issued with 28 returns and the results were the following people returning to the Charity Committee - Guy Berwick, Bill Kelsall, Danielle Freaney, Rebecca Doody and Dr Maria Rodriguez-Yborra. The floor was then open for questions and then the AGM concluded.
